No one believes veterans should be homeless. Catholic Charities is building a solution in Flint, Michigan. The Sacred Heart Veteran Village is a Comprehensive Transitional Housing Program for Veterans that is located at 734 E. Stewart Ave., Flint, MI 48505. The program uses evidence based practices to assist veterans of all levels of need, regardless of discharge status, to make improvements to their quality of life. The village includes a Veteran Resource Center to serve as the hub of the program. We are seeking funding to complete construction of SHVV and for the ongoing programs.We plan to build 22 more homes and expand the services that we offer to veterans in our community.
